Yes I’m in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Yes Ben was cleared by Embassy today. We pick up his passport and visa tomorrow. And yes, we fly home Saturday. There are no words to capture the moment I held my son for the first time knowing I wasn’t leaving without him. But there is a video:

Your son is amazing, and his connection with you is evident and incredible considering the cultural, language, and life experience differences that would otherwise have two such people worlds apart. Congratulations on passing Embassy, and have a wonderful and safe flight from Addis back home. We look forward to celebrating the same in the very near future with our boys who wait for us in Addis…Congrats again!
